Haha, I totally get it! Those dragons are so mesmerizing, it’s easy to forget there’s actually a functional watch hiding underneath all that artistry. I spent a good five minutes marveling at the moonlit garden before realizing I could track the actual time with the rose gold dragon’s tail!

Worth every penny for true connoisseurs, I say! These are art pieces on your wrist, a fusion of horological mastery and cultural symbolism. You just can’t replicate that with mass-produced brands.

This year’s YOTD watches are definitely top-notch. Still thinking about that Chopard L.U.C XP Urushi from 2012 though… that lacquer dragon was next-level!!
